bachelorette party details: outfit + decorations

13 June 2013
as you probably know, i love anything that has to do with weddings and that includes bachelorette parties!

the weekend was amazing, but i also had a ton of fun planning out decorations and details with her sister leading up to the party. we wanted to keep things low-key, but still fun and girly and settled on blush and gold colors.

bachelorette party!

the bride-to-be wore blush on our big night out and the rest of us were asked to wear black dreses. since i don't own a black dress appropriate for a summer night out, i went with a studded black faux leather skirt and a plain grey tee. it was the perfect casual, yet edgy vibe for a night out downtown. here's a variation on what i wore:

I love the way the decor turned out - you ladies did well! I like the idea of asking your friends to wear a certain color or color palette at a bach. party. It's definitely something I'll consider down the road.

Love that last outfit. The gray shirt with the leather skirt. So chic.

So cute! I love that you went semi casual (and comfortable), but still managed to look so chic. And I LOVE the idea of wearing black + blush. Obviously I love anything pink and gold, so that sounds like my type of bachelorette party. Can't wait to see pics! xoxo

How cute! I love the crafty ideas. I think perhaps something like this to go with the super cute crafty thing would work? http://www.bridalbananas.com/book-of-love-wedding-reception-game
