Best TV shows

13 January 2014
Hi, friends. How was your weekend?

I was parked on the couch with the nasty cold that's been going around, but I was able to catch up on Girls and several episodes of Breaking Bad (we're on season 3).

I used to watch movies when I was sick, but with all of the fantastic shows on TV, I'd rather queue up several episodes.

Here are some of my favorites. What are yours?

I'm OBSESSED with the Walking Dead. I binge-watched all of the first 4 seasons over the past 2 weeks and cannot wait for it to come back! And I missed Girls last night, but I'm planning on watching it tonight!

Dying to get into House of Cards! I hear it's so good. Kind of interested in Girls too! And I'm already hooked on Downton! :)

Love Breaking Bad! My husband loves Boardwalk Empire.

I am ashamed to say...that I don't watch any of these! To be fair, we don't have HBO or Showtime, so I can't watch Girls or Homeland (though I really want to watch both). My husband watches the Walking Dead and Breaking Bad, so I have seen a few episodes. My anxiety just can't handle it! I personally love Scandal (of course) and any romantic non-soap opera...I'm pretty guilty of rewatching things from my adolescence (like One Tree Hill!).

I don't watch any of these either - but I REALLY want to start watching Girls, I've heard only good things! Hope you're feeling better soon lady! xx

I watch Girls, House of Cards and late to the party (not sure why, enjoyed the first season and then dropped off somehow......) for Downton Abby. I have to STRONGLY recommend Treme..beautifully written with great jazz worked into the storyline, begins 9 months post Katrina in New Orleans.

I keep hearing about Girls, but don't have tv… so I watch everything on iTunes or Netfilx… I'll have to catch it at some point! : )
